Ngeringa Pinot Noir is praised for its delicate elegance and complex flavors, with ripe cherry and earthy notes. While some appreciate its full-bodied richness and smooth finish, others highlight its herbal and spicy undertones. The wine's vibrant red fruit profile and seamless integration of flavors make it versatile for various pairings, though opinions vary on its intensity and style.
The 2021 Ngeringa Pinot Noir presents a luminous ruby hue, indicative of its vibrant character. On the nose, it unfurls a bouquet of wild strawberries, red currants, and a whisper of forest floor, underscored by a subtle hint of clove. The palate is elegantly structured, with silky tannins weaving through layers of cherry and cranberry, punctuated by a refreshing acidity that enhances its finesse. The finish is long and graceful, marked by a mineral edge that speaks to its terroir. This Pinot Noir exemplifies the finesse and complexity expected from the Adelaide Hills region.
