Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva 2016

Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of dark fruit, oak, forest floor, and chocolate. While many appreciate its smooth tannins and long finish, some find it overpriced. The wine's complexity and aging potential are highlighted, though a few reviews mention a lack of depth in certain vintages. Overall, it's a sophisticated Rioja with a strong following.

This Muga Prado Enea Gran Reserva is a complex and balanced Rioja blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano. The wine has a deep ruby color, with aromas of dark berry fruits, sweet spices, and subtle oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and velvety, with ripe blackberry and plum flavors, hints of vanilla and forest floor, and smooth tannins that lead to a long, lingering finish. This is a truly exquisite Rioja, with a beautiful balance of fruit, tannins, and acidity that make it a perfect accompaniment to a wide range of foods. Enjoy now or cellar for up to a decade.
