Moya Meaker Pinot Noir 2023

The nose is earthy, with a rich, fruity aroma that gives way to juicy red fruit and a subtle, peppery aftertaste.

Fennel and anise bring a sweet and fruity profile to the palate, but a medicinal note and a touch of treacle add a intense and dimensional dimension, making this a graceful and enticing pairing.

Full bodied and full-bodied red wine with a deep, rich color, evocative of a luxurious evening. The understated sparkle on its surface adds a touch of sophistication. A nod to the past, this wine pays homage to the pioneering spirit of Moya Meaker, who was crowned Miss South Africa in 1959, a year that marked the beginning of a new era in the winery. The blend of clones 667 and 777 gives the wine a distinctly modern twist, meanwhile its fruit purity and evenness make it a top notch in the new world category. The wine's consistency is round and velvety, with a touch of black cherry and a light leather note. The close is long and satisfying, leaving a lasting impression. A true gem, this wine is a must-try for anyone looking to discovery the best of the new world.
