What the web is saying

Miner Gibson Ranch Sangiovese is praised for its rich fruit flavors, including cherry and cranberry, and its well-balanced tannins. Some find it elegant and lively, while others note a medium body with earthy undertones. The wine's oak aging adds complexity, though a few find it too light for their taste. Overall, it's a classic, approachable Sangiovese with a pleasing finish.

Voss Experts3.8

This Miner Gibson Ranch Sangiovese is a complex and inviting example of California’s iconic grape. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherry, strawberry, and white pepper are balanced with subtle notes of leather, earth, and flinty forest floor. On the palate, the wine’s bright acidity and medium tannins provide a pleasant balance to the juicy cherry and baking spice flavors. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant minerality that lingers on the tongue. It is a perfect match for Italian cuisine or enjoyed on its own.
