WINE DESCRIPTION
Mäyr Grüner Veltliner is a relatively simple but varietally-expressive wine showcasing the approachable side of Grüner Veltliner. Grapes are predominately sourced from the Kremstal region of the Northeast of Austria. Vinification occurs in stainless steel vats with temperature control, with a short period in neutral vessels prior to bottling. The result is a crisp, vibrant and spicy Grüner Veltliner with unique mineral freshness and refined aromatics.

Mäyr Grüner Veltliner has a pale straw color with green reflections.On the nose, you can expect to find enticing notes of citrus, green beans, and white pepper. It showcases a medium body with a lively acidity that adds a refreshing zing to each sip. The wine shows a marked peppery character typical of Grüner Veltliner and hint of grip and a slight pleasant bitterness that helps provide balance to the wine. The finish is moderate in length with a lick of minerality and peppery spice reminiscent of radishes and arugula.
