Mayer Pinot Noir is crafted from grapes grown in the cool climate of the Yarra Valley, Australia, known for its ideal conditions for Pinot Noir. The vineyard benefits from a mix of clay and loam soils, providing excellent drainage and mineral content. This wine undergoes fermentation with indigenous yeasts and is aged in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new, to enhance its complexity. The result is a wine with bright red fruit flavors, subtle oak influence, and balanced acidity, designed for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
