Matassa Coume de l'Olla Rouge is praised for its complex, earthy character and balanced acidity, with flavors of red fruit, cranberry, and pepper. While some appreciate its natural, funky finish and smooth tannins, others find it unorthodox and slightly unbalanced. The wine's low alcohol content and refreshing finish make it a favorite for warm weather, though its tartness and tannic presence can be divisive.
Intriguing and full of character, Matassa Coume de l'Olla Rouge unveils its essence with a deep ruby color and an expressive nose filled with aromas of wild berries, black cherries, and a subtle hint of garrigue herbs. On the palate, it offers a harmonious and well-balanced experience, with flavors of ripe plum, dark chocolate, and a touch of black pepper.
