Voss Expert tasting note
On the nose, it offers an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, spice, leather, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe tannins, a balanced structure and a long finish.

Multitude of possibilities, and a plethora of promise.
Jrff Deratze
Ruby red, tannins that belie its appearance, a intense and succulent fruitiness with undertones of ripe cherry and a soft earthy undertone.
Yakko
The nose was somewhat muted, taking some time to unfold, with a mix of oak, red fruit, and plum notes, but ultimately, the richness was somewhat lacking, with a noticeable earthy undertone, and grippy tannins that added a firmness to the finish, with a medium body and a decent finish. Overall, it was a decent wine, but not particularly memorable, and the price point made it a less appealing option for the evening, but perhaps it would improve with more time and patience, and perhaps due to the high price point, it may not be worth revisiting in the future.

Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with notes of red fruit, plum, and earthy undertones. While some appreciate its complexity and long finish, others find it lacks vibrancy and is overpriced. Tannins are often described as firm, adding structure, but can be grippy. The wine's aging potential is noted, with some vintages benefiting from decanting or further cellaring.
This Mastrojanni Brunello di Montalcino is a delicious and well-balanced Italian red wine. On the nose, it offers an intense bouquet of ripe red fruits, spice, leather, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with ripe tannins, a balanced structure and a long finish. This wine has layers of complexity that make it a pleasure to drink. It pairs well with grilled meats, roasted vegetables, and aged cheese. Overall, this is an excellent Italian red wine that is sure to please any palate.
