The Rioja's bold profile balances its tannic boldness with a lively acidity, highlighting a graceful dryness that suits my taste. The fruit layers unfold across a broad spectrum, encompassing red and black fruits, as well as a delicate blackberry undertone. The wine is balanced by a harmonious blend of vanilla, leather, and tobacco, accompanied by spicy flavors of pepper and licorice, alongside citrusy accents of orange and lime. The presence of floral flavors – violet and lavender – adds nuance to the in total experience.
