This wine originates from the esteemed Lavaux St. Jacques vineyard, a premier cru site in Gevrey-Chambertin, Burgundy. Benefiting from a cool, continental climate, the vineyard's limestone-rich soils contribute to the wine's structure and minerality. The Pinot Noir grapes are hand-harvested and undergo traditional fermentation with natural yeasts. Aging occurs in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new, imparting subtle spice and enhancing complexity.
