WINE DESCRIPTION
Mader Riesling is a regional-level quality Alsace wine sourced from four different terroirs, in Hunawihr. The combination of these different sites helps build complexity and nuance by creating a wider array of blending components. Vineyards are farmed organically with the aim of reducing chemical inputs. The individual terroirs are hand-harvested, pressed and fermented separately, before being matured for around 6 months on their lees (dead yeast). After the aging, the wines are blended and bottled.

Mader Riesling is known for its vibrant acidity and lifted floral character.It displays a pale lemon color in the glass suggesting a youthful wine. On the nose, you can expect to find notes of ripe peach, apricot, and citrus, accompanied by hints of white flowers and honey. The palate is refreshing thanks to the steely acidity that gives structure to the wine. Flavors of green apple, lemon zest, and a touch of minerality come through on the medium length, satisfyingly dry finish.
