WINE DESCRIPTION
Maculan Pino & Toi is a hugely refreshing, dry white wine produced by the Maculan winery. This wine comes from the Veneto region, specifically from the rolling Breganze hills. The wine is mostly composed of Friulano, with a touch of Pinot Bianco and Pinot Grigio. The vineyards are planted on volcanic and tuffaceous hills which gives a smoky minerality to the wine. On arrival at the winery, the grapes are pressed, before being fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks for a period of around six months prior to bottling to preserve their freshness and fruitiness.

This Maculan Pino & Toi shows a pale straw-green color on pouring, fading to an almost water-white rim, suggesting a youthful wine.On the nose, aromas of fresh apple, pear, and citrus peel of lemon and grapefruit mix with a delicate smokiness and a hint of white flowers. On the palate, the fresh, crunchy fruit profile is complemented by a sleek and lean texture, that is driven by firm acidity. The wine is light-bodied and easy-drinking, with a joyous fruit-foward finish marked by a lick of lemon and grapefruit peel.
