Louis Latour Vosne-Romanée 2022

The 2009 & 2010 Vosne-Romanée side by side reveals a more pronounced red fruit bouquet, with mild hints of deep cherry and strawberry complemented by elegant minerality and earthy undertones. A wisp of white pepper adds nuance, whereas the tasting is defined by a medium-light texture, controlled tannins, and a zesty acidity. The ending is long and satisfying, with a lingering cola note.

Harmonious and mature young burgundy with a soft yet inviting presence. Its ruby appearance is tempered by a suggestion of earthiness, a testament to its potential for aging. Initially, the nose is reserved, but as the wine opens, the earthy whispers give way to the promise of forest berries and a delicate oak influence. The structure is silky smooth, with a charming oily quality that adds richness to the broadly experience. The zest is elegant and refined, and yet the tannins are well-balanced and polished. Overall, a superb and enjoyable young burgundy that is sure to please.

Consistent and vibrant wine with a seamless blend of tart and earthy notes, accompanied by a bracing crispness that provides a sense of clarity and structure.
