WINE DESCRIPTION
Les Jamelles Viognier is an easy drinking white wine produced by Les Jamelles, a renowned winery in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. This wine is made from Viognier grapes grown in the vineyards of the Pays d'Oc appellation, which is known for its warm climate and diverse soils. The vineyards are carefully tended to ensure optimal ripeness and flavor development. The winemaking process involves gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve the delicate aromas and flavors of the grapes. The resulting wine is a beautifully balanced and aromatic expression of Viognier, with notes of peach, apricot, and honeysuckle. It is a perfect match for seafood, poultry, and creamy pasta dishes.

ORIGINS
Winery: Les Jamelles
Region: Languedoc-Roussillon
Languedoc-Roussillon is an expansive wine region in the south of France stretching from Nîmes and Montpellier east along the Mediterranean coast and inland to the Spanish border. It is the largest wine-producing region in the country, with a long and rich history of winemaking.
The Languedoc-Roussillon region has been producing wine since the Roman Empire. It was the first region in France to produce sparkling wines, and it has been a major producer of fortified wines since the Middle Ages. In the 19th century, the region was known for its sweet wines, but in the 20th century, it began to focus on producing dry wines.CUSTOMER RATING

Soft and delicate wine with a subtle, golden hue, paired by a nose of sweet and tangy notes, including nectarine, mandarin oranges, and toasted bread. The taste is refined and velvety, with a gentle, citrusy attack, followed by a delicate herbal and spicy finish. A perfect pairing for seafood, particularly when combined with a spicy boil, as the wine's soft sweetness and citrus nuances harmonize beautifully with the dish's bold flavors.

Smooth surprise, with a faint fragrance and a rich, fruity core. However, the suggestions were unexpectedly bold, with a strong presence of blackberry and vanilla, a tart middle, and a crisp, dry finish. The intricacy was a comforting surprise, indeed. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
