Fakhri
I was intrigued by the prospect of opening my second Valle D'Aosta bottle, having previously fallen in love with a superior bottle of Carema from years ago (if one can still be found!). However, I've been somewhat underwhelmed. The nose was lacking, with no discernible tannins, and the crispness was merely balanced. The 2017 Vintage was expected to deliver more pronounced nose and mouth, but ultimately, it fell short. A decent but unremarkable wine, returning to the cellar.
