I thoroughly enjoyed my first Blaufrankisch for the week. Andy B's usual excellent touches were evident, and I appreciated the sweet spices and red currant nose. The dry texture was harmonious by a medium-bodied red fruit flavor profile, with accents of raspberry and cherry. The smooth tannins provided a agreeable finish, leaving me eager to explore more of this grape.

It was a challenging impression for me. I've heard some gentle traces of blackcurrant, but it was barely perceptible. I'm not a fan of the note of ash. It was alluring to hear the faint body of ash.
