Lapostolle Grand Selection Carmenère 2022

Symphony of refinement and nuance, this 2000 vintage blackberry blossom is a testament to the enduring power of quality wine. With a rich, silky feel and a soft minerality, it's a true masterpiece that has stood the test of time. Its elegant evenness of zest and tannins has allowed it to age with remarkable consistency, even after a four-year journey from Chile to Detroit and São Paulo. The 80-year-old vines in Apalta have yielded a wine of unparalleled elegance, with a gentle sweetness that belies its age. A truly epic wine, one that I'm honored to share with my brother, and one that I'm grateful to have been able to preserve for so long.

Chilean producer with a notable reputation, known for its high-quality wines, in particular Carmenere and Cabernet Sauvignon. and yet the Carmenere is ideal for casual drinking, the Cabernet Sauvignon is a more sophisticated and complex wine.
