Tasting highlight
The grapes used for this wine are made from mostly old vines at high elevation, facing northeast which helps slow ripening and retain acidity. The winemaking is very traditional.

Lambardi Brunello di Montalcino offers an enticing array of ripe red fruits such as sour cherries and red plums, accompanied by floral notes of tomato leaf and dried herbs. There is also a subtle balsamic presence that gives the wine a lifted character, contributing to the wine's overall complexity. On the palate, it showcases a harmonious balance between its fruit, acidity, and tannins with flavors of red berries and cherries, accompanied by hints of forest floor, leather, and earthy undertones. This wine is full-bodied and age-worthy with a long finish.

Lambardi Brunello di Montalcino is praised for its rich, full-bodied nature with flavors of dark fruits, leather, and earthy undertones. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and complex structure, others find certain vintages too old or polarizing. Notable notes include cherry, forest floor, and spice, with a balance of tannins and acidity. Overall, it's a sophisticated wine that rewards patience.
