La Meridiana Garda Marzemino 2022

Voss Expert tasting note

This Garda Marzemino presents with a deep ruby hue, indicative of its robust character. The nose is a complex tapestry of ripe black cherry, crushed violets, and a hint of earthy minerality, underscored by subtle notes of dark chocolate and black pepper. On the palate, it reveals a medium-bodied structure with finely integrated tannins and a vibrant acidity that elevates its fruit-forward profile. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering nuances of dried herbs and a touch of smokiness. This wine exemplifies the quintessential balance and finesse of Northern Italian reds, offering both immediate appeal and potential for short-term cellaring.
