I'm not significantly impressed with this wine. I didn't find a compelling reason to tail the bottle.

Voss Experts4.5

This wine presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its old-vine origins. The nose is a complex tapestry of ripe blackberries, dried herbs, and a whisper of violet, underscored by a subtle mineral edge. On the palate, it reveals a robust structure with firm tannins and a vibrant acidity that balances the concentrated dark fruit and earthy undertones. The finish is long and layered, with hints of black pepper and a touch of garrigue, showcasing the quintessential character of Languedoc terroir. A compelling expression of Carignan, it stands as a benchmark for the region's potential.
