New exploration for me, I'm not familiar with a petite verdot. The nose is delightfully complex, with earthy traces that surprise me. It's almost as if I'm tasting a combination of black pepper, bold chocolate, a undertone of portobello mushroom, and a sweet mulberry. The flavor is multifaceted and evolves over time, making it challenging to pin down. I highly recommend trying another petite verdot to sensation this unique flavor profile.
Hydro
A rich and full-bodied wine with a hearty bouquet, featuring notes of cherry and leather. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, with a contenting body and a dash of smoke. The tannins are expertly integrated, adding substance and structure to the wine. Paired with Mediterranean-style dishes, such as turkey burgers with pesto and edamame, this wine is a perfect match. A truly amazing wine that I highly recommend. I am thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be purchasing this wine again.
