Delightful Tuscan IGT, ideally priced in Viareggio. The nose is a robust tapestry of ripe berries, cherries, and leather, with soft hints of tobacco and eucalyptus. The texture is well-balanced, with a harmonious interplay of fruit and tannins, accompanied by a zesty acidity. The broadly body is medium, and the follow through is long and satisfying. A promising Sangiovese with outstanding potential, paired with a hearty rabbit stew, a truly unforgettable combination.

Medium-acidity wine with a intense red berry flavor profile. I chose not to decant this wine, and instead, it will be returned to its original state.

Jacopo Biondi Santi Sassoalloro is praised for its rich fruit flavors, including cherry and plum, with notes of leather, forest floor, and oak. While some find it full-bodied and smooth with well-balanced tannins, others note a slightly dry finish. It is often described as elegant and complex, with a long, satisfying finish. The wine pairs well with hearty dishes and is appreciated for its aging potential.
