The dominant wine component was Sauvignon Blanc, with a notable structure of Petit Verdot and a wisp of Cabernet Franc. I am specifically fond of wines from Paso Robles, highlighted by a rich, gentle touch and a intricate smell of opaque fruit and spices. On the palate, the wine was dense and satisfying, with a seamless evenness of tartness and tannins. The finale was long and satisfying, with flavors of chocolate and blackberry.
