Solene
I've been quite cautious when it comes to new world wines, especially from the Pacific Northwest, given my family's vineyard in Burgundy. However, this exceptional wine has won me over. J. Christophers is a biodynamic winery that draws inspiration from Burgundian traditions.\n\nThis Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is their flagship, and it's bursting with fresh cherry, pepper, licorice, green notes, oak plank, and salvia.\n\nThe wine is a masterful blend of sweet and tart flavors, with a medium+ body, vibrant acidity, and delicate tannins. The tail is long and satisfying, leaving a smooth impression.\n 👅 The wine is a delightful combination of sweet and savory flavors, with a silky and accessible texture. It's a truly fantastic Pinot Noir that I highly recommend.
