WINE DESCRIPTION
Gustave Lorentz Vieilles Vignes Riesling Alsace Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim is sourced from estate organically-certified old vines planted in clay and limestone soils. The grapes are harvested, pressed and fermented in inert vats at cool temperatures to retain fruit purity with aim of creating a varietally expressive wine. Following the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is matured in inert vessel as not to mask the specificity of the site or the highly aromatic profile of Riesling.

The palate is where this wine truly shines, exhibiting steely and refreshing acidity that balances perfectly with the ripe fruit flavors on the lingering finish.
