This Francois Villard Cornas Jouvet is a medium-bodied and structured red wine, with aromas of dark fruits, spice, and earth. On the palate, the tannins are ripe and well-integrated, while the flavors of blackberry, cherry, cedar, and game are balanced and intense. The finish is long and complex. Overall, this is an elegant and structured red that shows the best of Cornas.

Francois Villard Cornas Jouvet is praised for its rich, full-bodied profile with complex layers of blackberry, black pepper, and earthy undertones. While some find it smooth and well-balanced, others note a slightly closed character needing time to mature. Tannins are generally firm, contributing to its aging potential. The wine's nuanced flavors and aromas make it a sophisticated choice for pairing with hearty dishes.
