Franck Balthazar Cornas Cuvée Casimir Balthazar 2022

Rich, full-bodied wine with a deep, silky mouthfeel and a dark, almost black color. The nose is centered around by dark purple hues, meanwhile the flavor is shaped by a robust, spicy aroma. The flavors are complex, with notes of blue-black currants and violets, which are balanced by gentle white peppercorn spices and aromatic undertones. The trail is long and satisfying, with a drying tannic quality that remains on the palate. Overall, a wine that is both easy going and full-bodied, with a need for patience and cellaring time to fully appreciate its richness and complexity.

Well-balanced, French wine with a fruit center, perfect for daily consumption. The oak aging process adds depth and complexity, making it a excellent standout for those craving a smooth, graceful taste.

Night of indulgence in the world of fine wines, with over 500 selections to savor. The evening's focus was on exhibiting the best of Italy's Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Pinot, and Riesling. A rich, dark fruit profile with earthy whispers was a hallmark of the wines, presenting a distinct departure from the bold, full-bodied Australian Shiraz.
