This Côte-Rôtie exudes a deep garnet hue, revealing a bouquet of blackcurrant, violets, and cracked black pepper, underscored by a subtle smokiness. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet elegantly structured, with fine-grained tannins and a vibrant acidity that propels flavors of dark cherry, olive tapenade, and a hint of graphite. The wine's complexity is further enhanced by a savory umami character, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This is a quintessential expression of the Northern Rhône, showcasing the finesse and depth that define this esteemed appellation.

Intense and nuanced ruby wine with a deep, still purple hue. The nose is outlined by a complex blend of red and black berries, with notes of pine and herbs. The sensation is marked by a lively brightness and a firm, mature tannin structure, with a smooth, velvety texture. The finale is long and satisfying, with a delicate peppery note that adds dimension and complexity.

Lovely moment. I would have given it a few more years to fully develop and would have liked to discuss it with you in 2019-2020.
Gerdien Karraoula
Deep and detailed wine with a smooth equilibrium of cherry and plum flavors, masterfully elevated by the light body of cut flowers. The tannins are expertly integrated, providing a gentle and supple structure that hangs pleasantly. This Côte-Rôtie offers complex aromas of black fruits, spices, and earthy notes with smooth tannins and balanced structure. While praised for its aging potential and velvety texture, some find certain vintages overly austere or muted. Reviews highlight its evolving character, with pepper accents and mineral undertones adding depth to the rich fruit core.
