Voss Expert tasting note
Aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and herbs lead to a palate of blackberry, licorice and earthy spices. The full-bodied, yet elegant, tannins are balanced by a lingering acidity and a touch of oak.

Rosany Mirabales
Voluptuous and nuanced Douro red with a strong nose featuring blackberries, blackcurrant, and licorice, elevated by vanilla and oak notes. The flavor is described by racy brightness and bold tannins, with a full-bodied and long finish. The backbone and symmetry are well-balanced, and the wine remains full-bodied and long-lasting. A top notch introduction to the Murcas range, with potential for extended cellaring.

Esporão Quinta dos Murças Margem Douro is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with flavors of blackberry, cherry, and blackcurrant, complemented by oak and vanilla notes. While some appreciate its balanced tannins and long finish, others find it slightly overpriced or one-dimensional. The wine's complexity and potential for aging are noted, with a harmonious blend of fruit and spice.
This robust red blend from Portugal's Douro Valley is a complex and intriguing wine. Aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and herbs lead to a palate of blackberry, licorice and earthy spices. The full-bodied, yet elegant, tannins are balanced by a lingering acidity and a touch of oak. The finish is smooth and long, with notes of dark chocolate and toasted nuts. Enjoy this wine now or cellar it for a few years to let the flavors continue to develop and evolve.
