A quintessential expression of Oregon's terroir, the Dundee Reserve Pinot Noir presents a translucent ruby hue, inviting exploration. The bouquet unfolds with layers of ripe red cherry, wild strawberry, and an undercurrent of forest floor, accented by whispers of rose petal and subtle spice. On the palate, it reveals a silky texture, with fine-grained tannins providing structure. The vibrant acidity harmonizes beautifully with flavors of cranberry and pomegranate, leading to a lingering finish marked by hints of clove and earthy minerality. This Pinot Noir exemplifies the elegance and complexity characteristic of the Dundee Hills AVA.

We are 50+ wine professionals (sommeliers, buyers, MW candidates) across the US, UK, France, Greece, Italy, and beyond. We review wines via blind tastings with a standardized rubric, using both 100-point and 5-star scales.

Dundee Reserve Pinot Noir originates from the renowned Dundee Hills in Oregon, an area celebrated for its ideal Pinot Noir growing conditions. The vineyard benefits from a temperate climate with cooling breezes from the Pacific Ocean, which help maintain acidity and balance. The wine is crafted using traditional techniques, including fermentation in open-top vats and aging in French oak barrels, a portion of which are new. This results in a wine that showcases vibrant red fruit flavors, subtle spice, and a silky texture. Designed for immediate enjoyment, it also has the potential for aging.
