Voss Expert tasting note
This Duemani Suisassi Syrah is an intense, full-bodied Italian Syrah with aromas of blackberry and raspberry. On the palate, the wine is rich and textured with a juicy core of dark fruits and spices.

Decadent and intense wine with a bold and heavy weight on the palate, tempered by a mild crispness and a tannic backbone. The flavor profile is shaped by by inky fruit notes, importantly blueberry, with a nuance of blackberry and a slightly astringent finish.

I was hesitant to open this bottle, but my curiosity got the better of me. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Syrah is a grape variety that doesn't always deliver what it promises. This particular wine failed to capture its signature flavor profile. The lack of Italian Syrah in the market is a missed opportunity, and this wine didn't quite live up to my standards. The flavor profile was heavy on black olives and brine, with smoky black fruit that was somewhat one-dimensional. The nose was restrained, and the close was somewhat short. Given its age, I expect it to improve, but for now, it's a decent but not stellar bottle. It's a good wine, but it's not a amazing one.

Nothing could be better, truly exceptional, truly outstanding, and utterly flawless.

Duemani Suisassi Syrah is praised for its rich, bold flavors of dark fruits like blackberry and blueberry, complemented by spicy and earthy notes. While some find it smooth with elegant tannins and a long finish, others feel it lacks complexity and is overpriced. The wine's intense aroma and deep color are consistent highlights, though opinions vary on its overall balance and value.
