This Burgundian Chardonnay shows vintage variation, with the 2017 offering bright citrus and green apple notes complemented by velvety texture, while the 2010 vintage presents more earthy complexity and plush smoothness. Both vintages demonstrate balanced acidity and textural refinement.
Domaine Serrigny Savigny-les-Beaune offers a fragrant bouquet of red cherries, wild strawberries, and raspberries, layered with floral notes of violets and hints of forest floor and spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with vibrant flavors of fresh red fruits, subtle earthy undertones, and a touch of minerality. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, providing structure and balance, while the bright acidity lends freshness and lift to the wine, leading to a graceful and long finish.
