Delightful little Bourgogne

2012

Mantoris

Concentrated and full-bodied wine with a deep, medium red color. The fruit-forward profile is featured by the character of raspberry, strawberry, and lingonberry flavors, as well as suggestions of forest floor notes. The wine has a moderate body and a smooth structure, with a length that is neither too short nor too long.

Solid choice, a decent pinot.

What the web is saying

Domaine Robert Chevillon Bourgogne is praised for its balance and complexity, with flavors of red berries, earthy undertones, and spicy notes. While some appreciate its smooth texture and elegance, others find it lacks depth and is overpriced. The wine's fruit-forward nature and moderate tannins are common themes, making it suitable for casual enjoyment but not universally compelling.
