This Domaine Nico Grand Père Pinot Noir offers a classic Burgundy nose of blackberry and raspberry with a hint of earth. On the palate, it is light-bodied with soft tannins and flavors of cherry, currant, and a hint of forest floor. The finish is long and pleasant, with a subtle smokiness. Overall, this is a delightful, easy-drinking Pinot Noir that will make an excellent addition to any wine cellar.

Wine with an overpowering presence of volatile compounds (VSCs) and sulfur, which unfortunately made it difficult to appreciate its nuances. and yet I'm willing to give it another try, I'm not convinced it's ready for the stage it's on yet. A promising start, but needs refinement.

I'm thoroughly impressed. The nose was hinting at of other high-quality Pinot Noirs I've encountered, with notes of plum and red fruit. The wine was truly stellar upon tasting, boasting a well-balanced profile. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The bracing quality and tannins were elegantly in harmony. I'm a fan of Pinot Noir from Oregon, but this one compares favorably to any I've tried from the Willamette Valley. My wife prefers white wine, so I'm looking forward to finishing the bottle. I'm thoroughly pleased.
Dongmei
Textured and intriguing blend of aromas, with the wet oak and wet leaves evoking a sense of dampness and earthiness, and yet the leather and foliage add a sense of richness and depth. The dried cherry and anise contribute a sweet and spicy note, seamless by the anaheim pepper's mild heat. Overall, this wine is a masterful blend of earthy and spicy elements, with a detailed and engaging character.
