Clean and bright Cotes du Rhone, with a velvety and easy going style. The wine is well-balanced, with a good mix of liveliness and tannins, and a understated black pepper and berry note that adds strength and complexity. A exceptional merit for the price.

What the web is saying

Domaine Martin Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages 'Plan de Dieu' is praised for its rich, full-bodied character with deep berry and spice notes. While some find it well-balanced and refined, others note it can be slightly pricey. Common descriptors include black fruit, pepper, and a smooth texture. The wine's complexity and aging potential make it a worthwhile choice for enthusiasts, though some vintages may lack standout qualities.

Voss Experts3.8

This Domaine Martin Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages 'Plan de Dieu' opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, dried herbs, and a hint of Mediterranean spices. On the palate, this wine has a full body and intense flavors of ripe blackberries, plums, and licorice, balanced with a touch of graphite and flinty oak. The finish is long and lingering, with a pleasant acidity and a touch of leather. Overall, this is a delightful and complex Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages that is sure to please.
