WINE DESCRIPTION
Domaine Les Gryphées Moulin-à-Vent is a Cru Beaujolais made entirely from the Gamay variety. The vineyards for this wine are mostly located on steep, granite-rich hillsides that lend richness and a smoky quality to the wine. Grapes are harvested by hand and are partially whole-bunch fermented in a combination of cement or stainless steel tanks. After completing the fermentation, the wines are aged in either large, old oak or tanks, before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
