Domaine Houchart Tradition Blanc 2024

Graceful blend of 90% Clairette and 10% Rolle, this Cotes de Provence white wine exceeded my expectations. I also enjoyed the red blend from this winery, and the white met my expectations as well. The wine's light, gentle appearance is akin to of a pale yellow color. The smell is a sophisticated mix of earthy notes, such as mushrooms, green pepper, asparagus, and citrus, with light floral undertones. The mouthfeel is marked by zesty green apple, pear, and mineral notes, accompanied by a vibrant acidity. The lasting impression is long and satisfying, with a wisp of tobacco. Overall, this wine is a amazing match for seafood dishes.

A pale, straw-colored wine with a high bracing quality level. It's not to our personal taste, but we appreciate the producer's rose immensely.
