The nose of Normandie apple and wool is a evolved and curious combination, with the apple evoking a sense of rustic charm and the wool adding a subtle, earthy nuance. The taste of farmers cider and vanilla shade is a harmonious blend of sweet and acidic notes, with the cider providing a rich, supple smoothness and the vanilla adding a subtle, creamy depth. The ending is long and satisfying, with a smooth, gentle quality that lasts on the palate. Overall, this wine is a masterful blend of traditional and modern techniques, with a unique and captivating character that is sure to delight even the most discerning palates.

What the web is saying

Domaine Follin-Arbelet Corton Grand Cru is praised for its earthy nose, firm tannins, and rich, plush texture. While some find the tannins firm and the palate dry, others appreciate its smooth, creamy conclusion and harmonious blend of sweet and savory notes. Flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and oak are common, with unique touches like vanilla and black tea. Best enjoyed in its prime years.

Voss Experts4.5

This Domaine Follin-Arbelet Corton Grand Cru is a luxurious, ripe, and powerful red Burgundy. On the nose, it is intense and complex with aromas of dark cherry, plum, earth, leather, and cedar. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured with velvety tannins and a long, intense finish. It offers a great balance between its bold character and its elegant texture. Enjoy this Grand Cru in years to come, as it will develop even more complexity with age over the next 20 years.
