This wine presents a deep garnet hue, indicative of its concentrated nature. The nose is a complex tapestry of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and a hint of garrigue, underscored by subtle notes of anise and leather. On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure with velvety tannins and a vibrant acidity that provides balance and lift. The mid-palate showcases layers of plum compote and a whisper of black pepper, leading to a long, mineral-driven finish. This Roaix exemplifies the finesse and power characteristic of the Côtes du Rhône Villages, offering both immediate appeal and aging potential.
