Rudberto Mignery
The new style is a masterclass in subtlety, with a sophisticated elegance that belies its complexity. The Gevrey, in particular, has undergone a understated transformation, its sweetness tempered by a suggestion of élevage. The impression is a masterful seamlessness of juicy tactile quality and vibrant acidity, with a midpalate that highlights sweet strawberry suggestions and a fulfilling firmness. The tannins are expertly managed, providing a mellow and classy finish.
Enilse Bolodian
Graceful and polished wine with a graceful nose featuring ripe raspberries, wild mushrooms, and oak. The taste is described by elegant hints of strawberries, sous bois, and oak, with a understated green undertone. The zest is medium, and the close is dry and medium-length. The wine shows a slightly watery texture, but its on the whole quality is impressive. The glassware is excellent, and the ABV is 12.5%. The wine is already mature, but it is still a smooth and drinkable option.

Serious investment when you see this wine, as it's not to be underestimated. From 10 parcels in the GC, I'm thoroughly impressed with this style. Perfumed in the nose, with a decadent cherry and strawberry character, liquorice and menthol suggestions are expertly balanced. The profile is intensely concentrated, with clear-cut aromatics that are expertly picked up on the nose. A truly beautiful wine, with high liveliness and tannin, and a long conclusion that leaves a enduring impression.

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze Gevrey-Chambertin Dix Climats is praised for its elegant and refined profile, featuring rich fruit flavors like cherry, raspberry, and blackberry, complemented by notes of oak, vanilla, and leather. While some find the tannins smooth and well-integrated, others suggest a slight reduction in oak tannins could enhance its character. The wine is noted for its balanced acidity and long, satisfying finish.
