Rich, full-bodied red wine with a deep, velvety colour. The character is a seamless blend of sweet strawberry and red cherry notes, with elegant background notes of spice, leather, and earthy undertones. The winemaker's 'mistake' has yielded a new, quaffable red wine, 'Mistaken Identity', which has proven to be a comforting surprise. in contrast it may not be to everyone's taste, it is an interesting and unexpected creation.

De Krans A Twist of Fate is a rich, full-bodied red wine with a velvety texture. It features sweet strawberry, red cherry, and earthy undertones, with a spicy and leathery finish. While some enjoy its unique blend and smooth tannins, others find it too sweet or lacking in strength. Ideal for summer, it pairs well with light dishes and offers a satisfying drinking experience.
A vibrant expression from the heart of the Cape, this wine presents a luminous garnet hue. The bouquet is a sophisticated interplay of ripe black cherry and plum, underscored by subtle hints of dried herbs and a whisper of dark chocolate. On the palate, it showcases a seamless integration of velvety tannins and a lively acidity, creating a harmonious balance. The mid-palate reveals layers of red currant and a touch of earthy minerality, leading to a lingering finish with a gentle spice lift. This wine exemplifies the deft craftsmanship typical of De Krans, offering both depth and elegance.
