Davis Family Vineyards Dutton Ranch Rosè de Noir is praised for its refined and elegant character, with notes of raspberry, cherry, and a mild mineral undertone. While some appreciate its crisp and nuanced profile, others find it slightly overpriced. The wine's subtle pink hue and sophisticated use of Pinot Noir grapes are consistently highlighted.
A luminous salmon hue introduces this Rosè de Noir, offering an enticing bouquet of wild strawberry, rose petal, and a whisper of blood orange zest. On the palate, it displays a deft balance of vibrant acidity and delicate texture, with flavors of red currant and white peach unfolding gracefully. The wine's minerality is reminiscent of wet stone, adding depth and complexity to its refreshing profile. A subtle hint of spice emerges on the finish, which is both crisp and enduring. This Rosè exemplifies the elegance and finesse characteristic of Sonoma's cool-climate viticulture.
