Darioush Signature Viognier is praised for its elegant blend of stone fruit, floral notes, and a velvety finish. Many appreciate its balance of sweetness and acidity, with hints of apricot, peach, and honeysuckle. While some find it opulent and vibrant, others note a slightly overpowering fruitiness. Overall, it's considered a sophisticated choice with a harmonious and polished profile.
This opulent and richly textured Darioush Signature Viognier is a luxurious and exotic expression of the varietal, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The nose is bursting with aromas of honeysuckle, orange blossom and white peach, while the palate is lusciously layered with flavors of apricot, white nectarine, nashi pear and a hint of lavender. There's a wonderful contrast between the creamy texture and vibrant acidity that carries through to the dry and mineral-driven finish. Enjoy this delightful wine with a variety of dishes from rich, creamy pasta to grilled seafood.
