This Cusumano Syrah is an intriguingly complex and elegant expression of the grape. On the nose, expect aromas of flintd meat, dark spices, and earthy blackberry, with hints of violet, cocoa, and forest floor. On the palate, the wine is silky and smooth, with a bright and juicy acidity, and a lingering finish of peppercorn and dark cherry. The tannins are well integrated, and the overall impression is one of finesse and balance. Enjoy with a slow-cooked lamb or beef dish.

This Sicilian Syrah receives praise for its full-bodied richness, smooth texture, and complex notes of plum, blackberry, and earthy undertones. While many appreciate its well-integrated tannins and lingering finish, some find older vintages overly oaked or lacking complexity. Reviews highlight a fruit-forward character with leather and spice accents, though opinions vary on its intensity - some describe it as bold and captivating while others note occasional astringency or unremarkable profiles.
