WINE DESCRIPTION
Comte Lafond Sancerre Grande Cuvée Blanc is produced by Baron de Ladoucette in the Loire Valley on predominantly limestone soils. After harvesting, the grapes are sorted on arrival at the winery. Fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless vats. Maturation on lees for three to six months with some stirring in inert vessels without the use of oak in order to retain the purest expression of Sauvignon Blanc.

Comte Lafond Sancerre Grande Cuvée Blanc shimmers in the glass with a pale straw hue and green reflections.On the nose, this wine offers an array of well defined citrus fruits, such as lemon and grapefruit, along with subtle floral notes. The aromas are vibrant and refreshing, accompanied by hints of freshly cut grass and asparagus tips. On the palate, it displays bright citrus and green apple flavors with a touch of minerality reminiscent of wet stones and gunflint.
