What the web is saying

Columbia Crest Grand Estates Merlot is appreciated for its rich, full-bodied texture and flavors of blackberry, plum, and vanilla. Many enjoy its smooth, polished finish and balance of oak and fruit. While some find it a great value with a pleasing complexity, others note it can be overly dry or lacking depth. Overall, it offers a satisfying experience for both casual and discerning wine drinkers.

Voss Experts4.3

This Columbia Crest Grand Estates Merlot offers aromas of ripe plum, and hints of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is full-bodied and lush with a velvety texture. The finish features a hint of spice. This Merlot is a great example of Washington State's signature varietal and will please many palates for casual drinking.
