Jeangael
Very appealing Chateauneuf with a very direct fruity nose, fresh raspberry, plum and fig notes, a smooth and spicy profile with a sweetish undertone. A very attractive Chateauneuf that I have recently come across, with a certain charm that makes it hard to resist.
Fushie
Layered and engaging assemblage of earthy, leathery, and metallic notes, alongside the sweetness of fresh cherry and blackberry. A promising start, with soft tannins and a undertone of potential for further development. A future ahead of it, but with a certain... maturity still to be achieved. A good time to revisit in 2-4 years, but for now, it's a solid foundation to build upon.
Patipe
The wine's initial subtlety gave way to a rich, smooth grip and a complex, layered character, with nuances of opaque fruit, spices, and mild oak undertones. As the hours passed, the wine continued to unfold, revealing a nuanced, sophisticated profile that was both elegant and refined. The conclusion was long and satisfying, with a smooth, rounded quality that left a lingering impression. Overall, a truly impressive wine that demonstrated a remarkable level of aging potential. I would award it a well-deserved 93 points.

Clos du Caillou Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Safres is praised for its rich, layered fruit flavors, including raspberry, plum, and blackberry, with spicy and earthy undertones. While some appreciate its smooth tannins and long finish, others note it can be too young to fully appreciate. The wine's aging potential and complexity are consistently highlighted, making it a favorite for those seeking a sophisticated experience.

The palate unveils a harmonious dance of ripe fruits, including cherries and blackcurrants, complemented by undertones of spices and herbs, all interwoven with silky tannins and a well-judged acidity. The finish is long and resonant, echoing with traces of fruit and subtle spicy notes. Paired beautifully with rich meat dishes or mature cheeses, Les Safres offers a sublime taste of the nuanced and varied landscapes of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
