WINE DESCRIPTION
This Bordeaux Blanc Sec is a refreshing dry white wine produced by Château Suau, located in the Bordeaux region of France. It is made from a majority of Sauvignon Blanc with a hint of Semillon. The Sauvignon Blanc provides the acidity, tropical notes and herbaceous character, whilst Semillon lends roundness and honeyed complexity. The grapes are gently pressed before the juice is transferred to temperature regulated stainless steel tanks to ferment at low temperatures with aim of retaining vibrancy of fruit. The wine is matured on fine lees (decomposing yeast) for around three months to add texture.

This Château Suau Bordeaux Blanc Sec is a wonderfully refreshing white Bordeaux.It has a pale straw hue with green reflections. It is a light, crisp, and refreshing white wine, with aromas of green apple, lemon, grapefruit and freshly cut grass. On the palate, it has a bright acidity and a light to medium body, with flavors of citrus, white peach and a subtle leesy complexity. The finish is moderate in length and elegant, leaving a pleasant mineral note.
