The word “Hito” means a stone post, sometimes carved, that serves to indicate the direction or distance on roads or to delimit land lends its name to Cepa 21's Rosado.
This project of the Moro family in Ribera del Duero, is a single-varietal Tempranillo (Tinto Fino), born from the lowest altitude vineyards of Bodegas Cepa 21 planted on limestone-clay and stony soil with a north and southeast orientation.
After a short cold soak, the fermentation runs between 12 and 15 degrees celsius for 20 days and is then matured for 3 months on its lees to give a delicate, elegant and gently fruity rosé.
