This Cerasuolo di Vittoria, crafted in the historic town of Vittoria in southwestern Sicily, is a limited-production wine and the island's only DOCG. Rooted in tradition dating back to 1606, it celebrates the unique calcareous soils of the region and takes its name from its cherry-red color—“cerasa” in the Sicilian dialect. Produced with indigenous yeasts and fermented in stainless steel, the wine undergoes controlled aging in both steel tanks and bottles. This careful process highlights the authentic character of Cerasuolo di Vittoria, offering a wine with depth, tradition, and vibrant regional expression.
